About Me

I received my health coach training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

In addition to my health coach training, I completed graduate school at Rutgers University where I received a Masters in Social Work (MSW). What forms the foundation of everything I do, both as a coach and in my role as a social worker is Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. I have been dedicated to this practice for the past 15 years and completed a 200-hour Level I Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training and am a member of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA). In addition, I am trained in Radiant Child Yoga® and Yoga for the Special Child®. I have been a certified children's yoga teacher since 2007 and have incorporated various aspects of yoga in my therapy work with child and adult clients. I help clients learn how to breath properly, teach them various deep breathing techniques (pranayama) and guide them through various styles of meditation.

As a health coach, I specialize in helping parents who have children diagnosed with Autism Apectrum Disorder (ASD).  I have been in the intellectual and developmental disabilities field for the past 10 years. If you have a child with special needs that you would like support with, please don't hesitate to contact me.
